AFP: How to apply for early retirement at age 50?
This week Law No. 31332 came into force , which reduces the age to access the Special Early Retirement Scheme (REJA) of the AFPs to 50 years .
Members may request early retirement if they reach the indicated age and are unemployed for at least 12 months .
In addition, affiliates who want to access the REJA should not receive more than 7 UIT (S / 30,800) for fourth category income .
This retirement scheme has three payment options : Withdrawal of 95.5% of your funds, partial withdrawal from your AFP account plus a pension calculated with the remainder, or the monthly pension.
How to apply for retirement?
The AFPs indicate that the situation must first be validated in the administrator in which it is affiliated. For this they can communicate to the following numbers:

- For Prima AFP: Call 615-7272 – option 1 (Lima) or 0801-18010 (provinces).
- For AFP Integra: Call 513-5050 (Lima) or 0800-40110 (provinces).
- For Profuturo: Call 215-2828 (Lima) or 0800-11434 (provinces).
To start the process, members can proceed to request early retirement virtually.
AFP Integra’s operations manager , Shirley Parodi, indicated that to carry out this process it is no longer necessary to go to the administrators’ offices.
“We are attending to this type of procedure through our website. They only need their username to enter the private area of the website. It is totally free,” he told RPP Noticias.
Parodi specified that no document is required to carry out this procedure thanks to the recently enacted law .
“Formerly, the client who had RUC or some contribution to Sunat was asked to bring his proof of contributions, now that document is not needed. Now what the AFPs do is make that consultation with Sunat,” he added.
As indicated, the result to know if you can access the REJA or not is immediate through the web. If your application is accepted, then in a period of approximately 10 useful members, they could be receiving their total fund or pension.
